Recorded live at the El Casino, Montreal, in 1978, EN PUBLIC is a landmark in MALICORNE's career.

This album had been conceived to mark the departure of two founding members of the band, LAURENT VERCAMBRE [was up to form LE QUATUOR] and HUGHES DE COURSON [musician and historical producer of MALICORNE], who wished to explore other horizons [he produced albums such as "Lambaréna", Mozart l'Egyptien", "Ostravaganza" or "Lux Obscura"].

OLIVIER ZDRZALIK-KOWALSKI [of the legendary band KOMINTERN] joins GABRIEL and MARIE YACOUB. He will remain a member of MALICORNE until its end. They invite BRIAN GULLAND [glorious graduate from THE ROYAL SCHOOL OF MUSIC of London and member of the extraordinary British renaissance-rock band GRYPHON] who participated in MALICORNE's work, as well as GABRIEL YACOUB's up to now.

LAURENT & HUGHES will be back in the band for the next album…
